PATIENTS

The primary goal of SAMPS is to provide support for those affected by Multiple Myeloma. This goal is provided through:

  • EDUCATION
SAMPS hosts a number of educational events throughout the year with very well-informed guest speakers and professionals on a variety of Myeloma related topics. Our monthly newsletter highlights a number of current events and related research. SAMPS is also active on social media - Facebook and Twitter. We post periodically throughout the month to connect with our membership. We hope you choose to become a member. Also, our website contains many helpful links to connect with affiliated groups and organizations.

  • MEETINGS
SAMPS hosts a number of social and educational events throughout the year, providing a connection between patients and caregivers and others affected by Myeloma. By interacting with others, you can get helpful information to help you cope with symptoms and drug reactions, and gain a sense of control when dealing with this disease.

  • MEMBERSHIP
SAMPS encourages you to become a member so that the Society can keep abreast of patients’ treatment plans, current needs, and basic quality of life issues. In this way, we can adapt our services and organization to better serve your changing needs, and those of other patients.

  • ADVOCACY
SAMPS is proud to work with a number of affiliated local, national and international organizations. By keeping our finger on the local Myeloma pulse, we feel we are well situated to advocate for our membership.
